APC Celebrates 10 Years Anniversary, Calls for Patience and Understanding from Nigerians

As it marks its tenth anniversary and President Bola Tinubu lays out his administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians to have patient and understanding.

The party’s national publicity secretary, Mr. Felix Morka, revealed it in a statement on Monday in Abuja. His “Renewed Hope” agenda will secure peace, unity, security, and prosperity, he assured APC members across the country.

On the occasion of the APC’s 10th anniversary, we congratulate its members, stakeholders, and leaders on this significant achievement.

“We pay tribute to the APC’s founding members for their dedication to progressive values and aspirations.

The necessity to save our country from the hazardous state it was in as a result of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) subpar leadership, according to Morka, led to the formation of the APC.

He reminded us that the creation of the APC was made possible by the union of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), and All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) helped APC in getting started.

Morka highlighted that the party had made amazing progress from its modest beginnings and had grown into Africa’s largest political party with more than 40 million members.

He claimed that the APC accomplished this by announcing people-centered policies that had repositioned the nation for comprehensive development across all spheres of its national life.

Significantly, the party won the president of the nation in its first election in 2015 by defeating the PDP, which was in power at the time. Additionally, it took control of the National Assembly and the majority of the federation’s states.

“This success was repeated at the general elections in 2019 and 2023 with a mandate to enhance its leadership, expand good governance, and push the boundaries of our beloved nation’s economic and social advancement.

The APC scribe said, “As the party celebrates this milestone, we applaud our compatriots for their invaluable support and tenacity these past years.”
