Action Progressive Congress

The withdrawal of the petroleum subsidy by President Bola Tinubu, according to Sen. Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is for the improvement of the nation.

This was stated Basiru at a reception held in his honor by party members on Saturday in Osogbo. He claimed that since the subsidy was eliminated two months ago, the government has been able to save around N2 trillion.

Nigerians, according to the APC national secretary, must be prepared to support the Federal Government in order to advance the nation.

Additionally, Basiru urged party members in the state to keep advancing the APC. He claimed that individuals who worked against the party during the most recent general election are currently suffering the effects.

“I would like to thank all our fans for supporting the party during the most recent general elections. “In the most recent election, the APC received more than 113,000 votes in the Osun Central Senatorial District.

“President Bola Tinubu won in the Osun Central Senatorial district despite all of the intimidation and harassment by the thugs,” he claimed.

The chairman of the APC in Ondo State, Mr. Ade Adetimeyin, urged party members to stick with and continuously advance the party in his speech. Speaking on behalf of the South-West APC Chairmen, Adetimeyin claimed Basiru had the credentials to be the party’s leader.
