Adeleke’s Administration is useless- APC national secretary

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration in Osun State, which is led by Ademola Adeleke, has been criticized for its uselessness by Ajibola Basiru, the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Basiru, those who assisted in putting the Adeleke government in place in the state were already regretting their choice.

The charges were made by the former Senate spokesperson during a reception held for him on Saturday by the Osogbo Federal Constituency APC leadership.

He urged party members to put aside their disagreements, seek to make the party stronger and remove the state’s incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, from office in 2026 while also admonishing them not to generate internal commotion.

You must endeavor to create a powerful party, he said. To reposition it for a better showing in the following round of elections, you must put in a lot of effort.

Less than a year later, those who wished to undermine our state’s prosperity are already weeping. The people who were appointed to the state’s government lacked the necessary skills.

“They are choosing SSA, Government House Pool, SSA Oranmiyan Newtown, SSA, kids, SSA swimming pool, and so on. The government needs to fire them.

When we fire him (Adeleke) in 2026, he will, as usual, enroll in a three-day diploma program to learn about NGOs because he was unable to fire Iyaloja General. The APC is a well-organized group. Let’s be more dedicated.

Kolapo Alimi, the state’s commissioner for information and public engagement, responded by stating that he was not shocked by the statement because the APC National Secretary has a history of speaking carelessly.

Alimi defended Governor Adeleke’s most recent appointments of aides, saying that they did not amount to a reason for underperformance.
