Burna boy competes with Davido’s record on US Apple music chart

Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has surpassed Davido’s previous mark for the highest-peaking African album on the Apple Music United States chart.

‘Timeless,’ Davido’s fourth studio album, which peaked at Number 2 earlier this year, established the record.

The highest-peaking African project in the history of the list was shared by Davido’s ‘Timeless’ and Burna Boy’s new album, “I Told Them,” which debuted at Number 2 on the US Apple Music chart on Saturday.

Likewise, ‘I Told Them’, which debuted at number 2, went on to become the highest-peaking African project in the history of the European Apple Music Album chart.

In order to accomplish the new achievement, Burna Boy beat the previous mark he had achieved with his 2022 album “Love, Damini,” which peaked at Number 3.
