Chicago State University: A former classmate of Tinubu speaks out (Video)

President Bola Hahmed Tinubu

Durojaiye Ogunsanya, a public affairs analyst, has entered the debate regarding President Bola Tinubu’s diploma from Chicago State University in the United States of America.

President Tinubu’s credentials have been under scrutiny recently, particularly by opposition party members who are looking for ways to remove the president from office.

Some Nigerians have been perplexed as to why the former governor of Lagos State cannot name a single student who attended the university with him.

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, had also applied to a court in the US for access to Tinubu’s Chicago University credentials.

However, in an interview with TVC News, Ogunsanya reportedly confirmed that the President and he both graduated from the university in 1979, according to a video clip going viral on social media.

We met at Chicago State University where we were both majoring in accounting. We were in the same department, the College of Accounting Business and Administration, and we graduated in the same class.

He did enroll at the university, and he earned his degree in 1979, the same year I did. I’m here to attest that he did go to college and that he performed well in his studies.

“I’m here in front of the world with my diploma. I just want to clarify things because we both graduated from the institution, not out of favor or for any monetary benefit.
