Lagos Reps re-election: It’s a miracle we got another opportunity- Banky W reveals

Nigerian singer and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State, has responded to the decision of the Election Petition Tribunal.

Wakenews reminds readers that the Labour Party’s Thaddeus Atta was declared the legitimate winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency election on Monday, but the decision was overturned by the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, which met in Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.

In 33 polling units where elections did not take place within 90 days, the court declared the election inconclusive and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to organize a supplementary election.

During his interview on Channels TV Politics Today on Wednesday, Banky W responded to the decision by praising the Tribunal’s decision and describing it as a miracle.

“For me personally, the fact that we have another opportunity to complete the election is a miracle in and of itself.

I believe it’s a monument to the strength of tenacity, the strength of faith, and the group will of those who want to take part in the restoration of this democracy, he said.
