Muri Okunola resigns as Lagos Head of Service- Joins Tinubu’s Bandwagon

Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the Lagos State Head of Service, has resigned from his position. He will now concentrate on his new role as Principal Secretary to President Bola Tinubu.

On Monday, Muri-Okunola informed the state’s employees via letter that his tenure in the civil service will end on September 29, 2023.

He has already informed Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state governor, of his resignation.

“I will appreciate this voyage and experience for the rest of my life. It has been incredibly fulfilling.

“I continue to serve the person who inspired and drew me into the public service and consider it a profession that ultimately carried me to the pinnacle as your Head Of Service.

“I will be assuming a new role in the Presidency to help and contribute my fair share to realising our President Bola Tinubu’s agenda of Renewed Hope,” the candidate said.
