Buhari Brought Nigeria out of Economic Hardship- Garba Shehu fires back at Tinubu’s Wife

Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, has asserted that his boss was responsible for rescuing Nigeria’s economy.

According to WAKENEWS, Shehu made the remark in response to allegations that Buhari’s administration contributed to Nigeria’s current economic woes.

Shehu claimed in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service that no previous administration had experienced the degree of economic suffering that Buhari’s had. He mentioned that the nation had to contend with the COVID-19 pandemic and a fall in oil prices.

Shehu claimed that despite these difficulties, Buhari was able to save the economy.

Shehu’s remarks follow those of Remi Tinubu, the First Lady, who said that President Bola Tinubu inherited a faltering economy from Buhari.

Tinubu claimed that although her husband is not a magician, he will try to solve the nation’s problems.
