Chicago State University: Tinubu’s Credentials Spark More Controversy

The records made public by Chicago State University have caused controversy since they seem to show the nation’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a female.

Sources claim that David Hundeyin, an investigative journalist, attracted attention to the anomalies in these documents through a social media post, which is how the news was made public.

This development comes after Tinubu’s academic records were made public by Chicago State University on Monday in response to requests from Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the elections of 2023.

Several observers voiced doubts about the veracity of these documents after their release. “The set of documents from @ChicagoState pertaining to ‘Bola A. Tinubu,’ obtained under subpoena by Atiku Abubakar, is available below,” stated Hundeyin after reviewing the records and pointing out an irregularity.

Social critic Farooq Kperogi, who questioned the veracity of the transcript Tinubu used to enroll at Chicago State University, was the one who first made this information public. Kperogi identified a number of mistakes in the paper, including problems with the date and social security number. We’re waiting to hear from CSU about this, he said.

Long-standing rumors about Tinubu perhaps assuming the identity of a female named Bola A. Tinubu in order to pursue school in the United States have been revived by the finding of these disparities.

Atiku Abubakar, a well-known politician in Nigeria and a frequent candidate for the presidency, has been pushing for the publication of Tinubu’s academic records because he believes it will help his argument against the Nigerian president. The Supreme Court of Nigeria, the nation’s highest court, will now hear the case.
