Jada Pinkett Smith, an American actress and talk show host, has admitted that she never intended to wed her husband, Will Smith.

recalls the celebrity couple’s 1997 wedding was at Baltimore, Maryland’s Cloisters Castle.

Pinkett, however, stated on her talk program Red Table Talk that she had never intended to wed Smith and emphasized that her mother had forced her into the union when she became pregnant.

I was very disappointed that I had to have a wedding, she added. I was furious. I was in tears. I sobbed during the wedding.

“I didn’t want to get married at all. Being a young actress and conceiving put me under a lot of strain. I was at a loss for what to do. But I was aware that I had no desire to get married.

“The marriage was awful. At the wedding, I was three months pregnant.

According to Wakenews, Pinkett recently revealed that she and her husband, Will Smith, have been living apart since 2016 in a clip from their upcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb.
