Your god changed the weather in America but can’t stop the rigging of elections in Nigeria- Daddy Freeze

Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, is a well-known media personality who has gone to social media to explain why he is unable to serve God.

In response to Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s testimony as General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Daddy Freeze made this statement on his own Instagram page.

In a widely shared video on the internet, Pastor Adeboye stated, “I was invited to Colorado, USA, in January of last year. I detest the chilly weather and therefore prayed to God to stop the weather while I was there. God drove away the winter and welcomed the summer during the days I was there.

In response, Daddy Freeze made a contentious message on the internet expressing his opinions about Christianity in Nigeria and that he couldn’t serve a god who could change Colorado’s weather but couldn’t stop the rigging of the Nigerian election.

He also exhorted Nigerians to rewrite the history of what their parents understood to be “god.”

“I will never be able to serve a deity who stops the snow yet is unable to raise his young people like Mohbad or his servants like Osinachi. A god who, in spite of his son’s announcement in 2016, sees his tithe-paying children suffer from hunger and poverty but is powerless to stop the Naira from dropping freely. A god whose angels guarded the polling places, but the manipulation continued unabated. I believe that the time has come for us to rewrite the story of what our parents understood to be “god.”
