Video: Portable graces runway at the British fashion awards

Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, walked down the runway on Monday at the 2023 British Fashion Awards held at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The British-Nigerian Grime rapper Skepta was escorted to the event by the crooner of “Zazu. With great fanfare, Portable strode behind Skepta and the rest of his BBK team.

Among the guests were Gwyneth Paltrow and Anne Hathaway, two famous Hollywood actresses.

The evening’s major winners were Martine Rose, who won British Menswear Designer of the Year; Jonathan Anderson, who won Designer of the Year; and Sarah Burton, who received the Special Recognition Award. The Cultural Innovator Award went to singer Sam Smith, while the Pandora Leader of Change Award went to British-Ghanaian actress and writer Michaela Coel.
