Toyin Lawani laments Nigeria’s economic difficulties and insecurity, saying that nothing is working

Celebrity stylist and reality star Toyin Lawani has expressed her displeasure with the nation’s severe economic suffering and growing insecurity.

Speaking on her Instagram page, Lawani lamented the rise in the cost of necessary services and consumables as well as the number of suicides and kidnappings.

She emphasized that nothing is working in the nation and pointed out that both individuals and businesses are suffering.

“This is not even a joke anymore,” she stated. In Nigeria, people are being killed after being abducted from their homes. Imagine not even being able to feel safe in your nation.

“Nothing is working. People and businesses are hurting, food costs are rising, transportation costs are rising, wages are staying the same, job losses, and disaster is striking. Every day, someone commits suicide.

Despite being in the ideal household to help them grow, our children’s future is not promising. Each of us must begin advocating for our families who lack a voice. Nigeria is becoming less productive and safer. Why?

“May God lessen your burdens, everyone affected in Ibadan, Jos, Abuja, Kaduna, etc.”
