As Tinubu searches for Betta Edu’s replacement, NIMC CEO Odusote has been mentioned as a possible replacement

Abisoye Coker-Odusote, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), is being considered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a possible successor to Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

Referred to as a financial fraud about Edu’s suspension, President Tinubu is reportedly actively considering other candidates for the ministerial post, according to sources.

Abisoye Coker-Odusote, an engineer and a political appointee of President Tinubu, is reportedly one of the people recommended for the position, according to Daily Times.

According to reports, she has shown strong leadership at NIMC, resolving backlogs of requests for changes to National Identity Numbers (NINs).

She is a noteworthy candidate for the role because of her history as a well-respected and knowledgeable supporter of President Tinubu.

Considering Abisoye Coker-Odusote’s background and steadfast devotion to the President, her pick is viewed as a calculated move.
