BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa fires all of Akeredolu’s special advisers and commissioners

All of the individuals appointed by the late Rotimi Akeredolu’s predecessor have been fired by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

This was said in a statement made on Wednesday in Akure by Ebenezer Adeniyan, his spokesperson.

“All members of the Cabinet are to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices immediately,” the statement states.

Furthermore, effective immediately, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) have been relieved of their responsibilities.

“All impacted officials have been instructed to turn over whatever government property they may have.

“The affected officials are appreciated for their services and contributions to the State’s development,” the governor said.

According to Wakenews, following the previous governor’s demise, the majority of Akeredolu’s appointees resigned from their positions.
