Qatar makes Direct turn to hold business investment forum with President Tinubu

The Government in Qatar has reversed an earlier rejection of a business/investment forum it was to hold with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to the country which has been scheduled for March 2024.

According to sources, President Tinubu came under heavy fire on Saturday after the letter from the authorities in Qatar came into limelight which stated the rejection of the investment forum and it was leaked on social media.

The memo revealed the absence of Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatar’s minister of commerce and industry as the reason for the rejection.

However, on sunday 25th of February 2024, Qatar has agreed to host the business and investment forum.
