In the wake of sexual assault lawsuits, Diddy resigns as chairman of Revolt

Besieged Sean Combs, well known by his stage name Diddy, is an American rapper and music executive who has resigned from his position as chairman of Revolt TV.

The company stated that the change was required to allow Revolt to concentrate on its goal in a statement posted on its Instagram page on Tuesday.

In accordance with the statement: “Revolt’s chairman, Sean Combs, has resigned.” Even though Mr. Combs has never held an operational position in the company, this move ensures that Revolt will never waver from its goal of producing culturally significant content and elevating the voices of all Black Americans and those of the African diaspora.

In 2013, Diddy and media executive Andy Schuon created Revolt with the goal of promoting Black voices in the US and hip-hop culture.

Combs has been the subject of multiple lawsuits and accusations of sexual assault in the recent past.

Earlier in November, the singer was sued by Casandra Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, for allegedly assaulting her physically and sexually throughout the course of their ten-year romance.

Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a second lawsuit against the rapper a week after the first one, claiming that he had drugged and sexually assaulted her in 1991.

A plaintiff known only as Jane Doe filed a third lawsuit, alleging that in the early 1990s, R&B singer Aaron Hall and Diddy alternated in sexually abusing her and other women at the singer’s apartment.

Diddy called the accusations “fabricated claims” and “money grabs,” and he had refuted every one of them.
