Bella Shmurda reveals why he stopped working at Dangote factory

He claimed that he immediately left his position after learning that one of his co-workers had died after falling through the roof of the company's structure into hot industrial oil

Bella Shmurda, a well-known artist from Nigeria, has described a catastrophe that happened when he was working at the Lagos noodles factory owned by Dangote.

He claimed that he immediately left his position after learning that one of his co-workers had died after falling through the roof of the company’s structure into hot industrial oil. In a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, he described the horrific event.

It was comparable to a Saturday morning, according to Shmurda. I arrived at work. We have already begun working. Everyone was just yelling that someone had fallen into the hot oil. He slipped as he was cleaning the roof. Because the Indomie [noodles] are truly mushy, the factory uses this oil to make them hard. After passing through the oil to become firm, it will enter the nylon before being placed inside the packet.

β€œSo, the guy fell inside the oil. It took long before they brought him out. Guy, him don fry. Omo, that day ehn, the clothes wey dem dey give us, I just off am, off their shoe, I just dey go. I said I no dey work again.”
