Celine Dion struggles with a rare ailment and loses control of her muscles

Amid her fight with stiff person syndrome, or SPS, well-known Canadian singer Celine Dion has lost control over her muscles.

According to Wakenews, the 55-year-old singer disclosed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with an incurable illness that results in excessively tight muscles.

Moreover, Claudette Dion, the singer’s older sister, said in an August 2023 interview with Le Journal de Montréal that Celine has not yet discovered a medication that effectively treats her SPS.

According to Daily Mail, Celine’s 75-year-old sister Claudette provided an update on her health on Monday, stating that the singer had lost control over her muscles in an interview with 7 Jours.

Although she’s exerting a lot of effort, she can no longer control her muscles. The fact that she has always been in control hurts my heart.
