BBL is becoming a necessity in Nollywood now to get movie roles- Actress Ebere Nwizu

Actress Eberechukwu Eberechukwu Nwizu of Nollywood has disclosed that certain producers in the Nigerian film industry now want females to undergo Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL, to cast them in motion pictures.

The actor made this revelation while recently appearing on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria program.

She acknowledged that the infrastructure and financial resources of the Nigerian film industry had grown over time, but she bemoaned the loss of raw talent as producers opted instead to work with social media celebrities who they thought would help their films gain traction.

She stated that balance was necessary even when producers had to turn a profit.

Ten years ago, it was you weren’t tall enough, you weren’t plump enough, or you weren’t fair enough; today, it’s you don’t have BBL, Nwizu remarked.

“The good news is that you are no longer required to follow them. You can start producing your material, use any of the streaming services, and develop. Our past excuses are already history. There will always be people who insist, “You have to do this to be in my movie.”
