Why Producers are becoming musicians- Fiokee

Ifiok Effanga, called Fiokee, a well-known guitarist and music producer from Nigeria, has revealed why so many are turning to singing.

He claimed that the current pattern results from producers not receiving enough praise and financial rewards.

This was disclosed in a recent Hip TV interview with the producer-turned-singer.

Fiokee stated, “I feel and have experienced that the reason producers are switching sides to become vocalists is because they aren’t receiving the flowers [accolades] they are meant to receive. They occasionally enjoy fame more than actual money in the real sense.

As I’ve said before, the government dislikes this generation because we are so intelligent. The same is true with musicians; they dislike producers who are intelligent.

They start to pose a threat if they notice producers trying to step up their game since they are aware that as you develop, they will no longer be able to manage you. However, that’s not how it should be; as you develop, I should also develop. But when artists progress, they drift away from producers. Therefore, everyone is waking up.
