My ex wife never married me for the money- Julius Agwu

Veteran actor and comedian Julius Agwu has refuted claims that his divorced wife, Ibiere Maclayton, wedded him for financial gain.

Recall how several media outlets claimed he had implied in a recent interview that his ex-wife “may have married him primarily for his financial status at the time.”

Julius Agwu, however, refuted the claim during an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze.

Daddy Freeze: “They alleged that you claimed your wife, IB, married you for financial gain. Please take that into consideration.

Julius Agwu: “The Punch interviewed me. I have never made such a statement. I recently saw this thing, and Segun Arinze sent it to me.

“I could never humiliate myself in that way. My ex-wife and I never got married for financial gain. Julius Agwu never said it, either. She is the mother of my children, I would never be able to say that about her.
