I want to collaborate with more women in the music Industry- Rema

Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, a well-known Nigerian singer, claims that after the success of his smash single with Selena Gomez, “Calm Down,” he wants to work with more American celebrity artists.

At the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Tuesday, the singer from Benin expressly stated that he wishes to collaborate with female superstars more.

Rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion were highlighted as some of the artists he was looking forward to working with in the near future.

He said, “I’m hoping to meet Meg [Thee Stallion], and Nicki [Minaj] for possible collaborations. Who else? Yeah, I wanna link up with girls dem.”

Wakenews reported that Rema’s hit single ”Calm Down” with American music superstar Selena Gomez reached a stunning milestone achieving one billion downloads on Spotify, which is a testament to his artistry and universal appeal.

This is the first tune featuring African artists to be inducted into Spotify’s Billions Club.
