Why I never supported APC in the first place- Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation magazine, has explained why he changed his mind after first endorsing the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Due to his reluctance to back Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former presidential candidate has been engaged in a social media spat with APC supporters.

In a recent post on X, Momodu attacked APC supporters, saying they were fixated on an interview in which he claimed Tinubu had given him 500 pounds in London when he was living in exile.

He emphasized that he had paid back in a thousand folds and that the gift was not intended to turn him into a lifelong slave.

He posted on X on Wednesday night, saying, “I will support a government that appears very reasonable and sympathetic to the citizens of Nigeria.”

“I could have voted for the APC in 2015, but I knew right away that Buhari was taking us to the cross.” It’s been less than six months since APC went awry.
