Lupita Nyong’o, star of Black Panther, splits from her boyfriend

The TV personality Selema Masekela and actress Lupita Nyong’o, who is Kenyan-Canadian, have called it quits.

Less than a year after making their romance official, the “Black Panther” actress declared via her Instagram handle on Thursday night that she and the American sports commentator are no longer together.

The forty-year-old actor explained their split as the result of “deception.”

Among other things, her lengthy Instagram post stated: “It is vital for me to openly disassociate myself from someone I can no longer trust and communicate a personal truth.

“I’m going through a heartbreaking season because of a love that was tragically and abruptly destroyed by deception.”
