Patience Keys Rises as PRP Candidate

On Saturday, Patience keys won the primary election for the People Redemption Party ahead of the governorship election which is slated to take place on the 21st of September 2024 in Edo state.

Patience was accepted by the party members and delegates in the primary election which went down at the PRP secretariat in Benin and some officials witnessed it which came from the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC).

In her speech, she expressed her gratitude to the party for entrusting her with such a huge responsibility.

She said her confidence in her capabilities and visions was an honour and a call to action.

“As we stand on the cusp of historic election, I am reminded of the immense responsibility that comes with this trust.

“We envision an Edo state where economic diversification will fuel our growth in agriculture, technology and tourism.

“We envision an Edo state where every child will have access to quality education and every citizen will have access to quality healthcare and economic opportunities,” she said.

Patience who revealed that the empowerment for youth and women would be important to her human capital development strategy, included that there would be a chance for women to participate in governance.

Keys however promised to tap into some area of expertise from the diaspora community in other to bring further development to the state.

As we gear up for the governorship election, I call upon each one of you to stand with us.

“Together, we can realise a vision of Edo State that is not only rich in natural and economic resources but also in the talents and potentials of its people,” she added.

According to sources, Patience Ndidi Keys is an entrepreneur, an healthcare professional, A president and strategist for the Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce.

Patience Keys hails from Igueben local government area, Edo state and she was a chairman to Nigerians in Diaspora Organizations Americas (USA).
