Edo Governorship Elections- Portal for Uploading candidates Data Opens On Monday

The online portal which is meant for candidates to submit their forms online including their particulars for the Edo Governorship elections will be open by INEC which begins September 2024 will be open by Monday and will close on the 24th of March 2024.

Sam Olumekun who is the National commissioner, chairman for information and voters committee revealed in a statement in Abuja yesterday, saying Access Code to the portal will be available for collection by the National Chairmen of political parties from March 1(Friday) while a refresher training for two Liaison Officers per party to ensure seamless nominations starts the same day and ends on Monday at INEC’s Media Centre, Abuja.

Sam olumekun revealed that political parties have 20 days to upload the nomination form of two candidates per party (Running mate and Governorship candidate) and no request to extend time will be approved beyond 24th of March 2024.
